The world is a complex place. That’s fairly obvious. But when we start delving into living and working in another country, particularly for the sake of seeing change in that country, the complexity goes to a whole new level.

Have you ever thought about the factors that prevent a woman from accessing family planning, even if she really wants to? What about the relationship between poverty and ill health? And why some parts of the world flourish while others seem to lag behind? Or have you ever wondered why African concepts of time are so different from Australian concepts of time?

In this section we will share thoughts and ideas about culture, aid and development, community work, behaviour change, preventative medicine, capacity building, and heaps more.
